Photos from the Finger Lakes Charters

On Tuesday, May 19th, we operated over the Finger Lakes line between Himrod and Watkins Glen. Here we see the train next to the National Brands store at Himrod.

At Watkins Glen, the locomotive ran around the passenger cars while the riders explored the community's lakefront.

Here is loco 2306 next to the same store at the end of the trip.

On Wednesday, May 20th, we moved to Pennsylvania to cover the Wellsboro & Corning Railroad, using the equipment of the Tioga Central. A surprise for the riders was a photo freight, shown here at Wellsboro Junction, Pennsylvania.

Our first move was south to the station at Wellsboro, shown with TC 14.

TC 14 leads the photo freight across the Crooked Creek Bridge just north of Wellsboro Junction.

TC 506 leads the passenger train in the same location.

We also did a photo stop at Summit Cut. Here passengers scramble to one of many great photo locations.

Here is a unique view of the passenger train as it passes through the cut.

Here is the photo freight at the same location. After this, we ran to CP Corn outside of Corning, New York, and then headed back to Wellsboro Junction, ending the four-day event.
