Summer Open Car Show

(Proceeds will benefit the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum and the United Way of Anderson County)

The annual East Tennessee MOPAR Club Summer Open Car Show will be held in conjunction with the annual Oak Ridge Secret City Festival on May 17, 2003 at the Civic Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Civic Center is located on the Oak Ridge Turnpike in downtown Oak Ridge. The entry fee is $25.00.

Registration is 9 am to noon, and show hours are noon to 4:00 pm. Awards are at 4 pm, followed by a police escorted parade of cars through Oak Ridge. A variety of awards will be presented, including Top 50, Best of Show, Mayors Pick, and Police Chief Pick.

A silent auction will be held to benefit the United Way of Anderson County, including signed footballs and basketballs from the University of Tennessee.

Directions: From I-75 take the Clinton/Norris exit, follow Highway 61 through Clinton to Oak Ridge and the Civic Center will be on your left in downtown Oak Ridge. From the Pellissippi Parkway (I-140) travel north to Oak Ridge and turn right on the Oak Ridge Turnpike to the Civic Center. From I-40 take exit 356 and travel east on Highway 58 approximately 10 miles to Oak Ridge. The Civic Center will be on your right.
