Secret City mysteries exposed!! The Southern Appalachia Railway Museum and the Oak Ridge High School Masquers drama club present an evening of mystery and intrigue set against the background of one of World War II's most secret facilities. Breathtaking drama ensues. Can you identify the culprit and save the free world?
This is a unique opportunity to spend an entertaining evening onboard a train from the 1940's, restored by volunteers from the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum. The murder mystery dinner train departs from the East Tennessee Technology Park near Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Menu selections include boubon marinated grilled filet of beef with potatoes, herb marinated grilled chicken breast with white wine sauce, grilled Cajun style shrimp with pesto cream sauce and rice, and a spinach and feta stuffed tomato with brie cream sauce and potatoes. Each dinner includes a tossed salad, specially prepared vegetables, fresh bread, dessert, and tea or coffee.
Murder Mystery Dinner Trains for the 2012 season are scheduled for April 21 and May 5. Ticket prices are $70 per person and include dinner, a train ride, the murder mystery, and all taxes and gratuities. Contributions will be happily accepted by the Oak Ridge High School Masquers drama club. Seating is limited to 44 people. Reservations and payment are required at least one week in advance.
