The Southern Appalachia Railway Museum ran a series of special photo freights covering the K-25 Manhattan Project railroad in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, featuring our newly restored Alco C-420, Louisville & Nashville 1315. You can see photographs of this locomotive in numerous magazines such as Trains, Railfan & Railroad, and Railpace. The event featured a night photo session on Friday evening and numerous photo runbys on Saturday. All proceeds from this event go toward restoring additional locomotives, passenger and freight cars owned by the Museum. Photos from the event will be posted as available.
