September 30 - October 2 found the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum and the Arkansas Railroad Club hosting nine special trains as a part of a three-day celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of the DeQueen & Eastern Railroad in DeQueen, Arkansas. The sponsors wish to thank the many kind people at the DeQueen & Eastern for allowing this event to occur.

The DeQueen & Eastern supplied two freshly cleaned locomotives for the rides, most of which ran to local communities.

Volunteer crew members pause for a group photo.

Hugo Heritage Railroad provided the passenger cars for the weekend.

Ridership required three coaches, all staffed by Southern Appalachia Railway Museum and Arkansas Railroad Club volunteers.
