On March 25, 2001, almost 100 riders from around the country rode a rare-mileage trip in Knoxville, Tennessee. The K&HR train is seen passing under the CSX Tennessee River bridge. |

Among the highlights of the trip was a photo runby
at the Holston River bridge east of Knoxville.

K&HR 2318 passes the many parked trailers at a
Tennessee river boat ramp.

On the last leg of the trip, K&HR 2318 pulled the train for a runby at an old marble quarry from which much of the stone went to build Washington, DC, federal buildings. |
